Waymarking in Holmes Chapel

After completing a few caches round the Holmes Chapel/Middlewich area we decided to find a few waymarks. It was pretty dark by the time we arrived but that didn't put us off, in fact that added to our fun really.

1st stop was St Lukes Church, a stunning church right in the centre of the town with a number of different locations to find in and around the church.

Next stop was an old red telephone box around the corner. We had great fun with this one nipping in and out taking photos of each other. The diners in the restaurant across the road certainly found our antics rather amusing and more than likely thought we were really quite mad.

Last stop was Mandervilles bakery. An old traditional bakery set in the old part of the town. I'm sure when its open the wares are scrumptious as the window decorations certainly looked very inviting. Never have I seen knitted buns that looked good enough to eat.

My first ever waymark - Winnats Pass Derbyshire

After playing around on the computer trying to pass the time, I decided to look a little more into the waymarking site. I was scrolling through the pages when I came across a place that I had visited back in July when I was completing an Earth Cache in Derbyshire. this is a place that I have visited many times throughout my life and I never tire of the breathtaking views of the landscape.
